Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)

Many people mistakenly think of an IRA as an investment product in itself. Rather, it's more accurate to think of it as a box and inside are mutual funds, stocks, bonds, certificates of deposit, annuities, or other financial products you choose to invest in to help fund your retirement. There are several types of IRAs, including Traditional and Roth:

With a Traditional IRA: •Taxes are not paid until distributions are taken
•Contributions may be tax deductible
With a Roth IRA: •There are no taxes upon withdrawal,
provided the timing requirements are met.
•Contributions are not tax deductible.
Allstate Financial can help you with: •IRAs for 401(k) Rollovers
•IRAs funded by annual contributions
•IRA consolidations

Whether you're interested in opening a new or rollover IRA, traditional or Roth, Allstate Financial Services has a broad selection of investments from which to choose. A Personal Financial Representative can help you make the best decisions in saving for your retirement.
